I shot this like ten months back and by far was the most fun I have had on a shoot... ever!

Inspired by All American 1970's Ladies man luke cook plays various characters in the story

"The Million Dollar Man"

I knew luke was an actor with a great sense of humour so i simply asked him to create characters for each of the outfits.

PARIS

Florant,Elvis Di Fazio. Nathalie

I was in Paris the city of Romance.... everywhere you go you feel like your in an old black and white movie, this is the place where magic happens and if your lucky enough to walk the streets alone, it does.

I just had to shoot something to capture that essence im talking about.

ERIK FROM SCENE MODELS OZ

ERIK ROCKS AND HE LIKES TO ROLL-ER SKATE AROUND YOUR BLOCK

I ALMOST DIDN'T SHOOT HIM DUE TO HIS LIKENESS TO LEONARDO DE-CAPRIO (NEVER REALLY UNDERSTOOD THE HYPE) BUT LEO DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING ON ERIK. I THINK BEX FELL IN LOVE.

HA! MORE ON ERIK SOON.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

GRAZIA MAGAZINE "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST"

This was the first big shoot i did for GRAZIA mag here in oz. I did this yonks ago but it still stands as one of my favz!

Mark (art director / stylist) liked the way i shot sporty guys and he wanted me to translate that with high fashion and his styling. He cast Simone Kerr for this.

perfect considering her history with dancing more specifically pole dancing. as soon as i found that out the shoot for me was all about effortless flexibility.

She really reminds me of kelly lebrock from weird science mixed in with the girls from the Robert palmer film clip "addicted to love"

the whole day while i was shooting I had the scene from total recall in my head.

The part where Arnold Swartzenager has to choose his idea women from the computer and he chooses her hair colour "bru-nette" and then has to choose her build and hes like "at-let-ic!"

Simone.... you are very AT-LE-TIC!

she became the flavour for me with the GRAZIA shoots. who could complain. she's so amazing! she moves like a minx!

I shot this like a year and a half ago but i love it

My mate Thom kerr scouted this guy in New zealand, I got him sent over for a commissioned shoot for attitude u.k and did a fun gents story with him on the side.

he reminded me of YSL the man himself circa late seventies so i wanted to get the whole kinda studio 54 vibe on him. he was so much fun to shoot!

he migrated from france and had a really thick accent so i had to direct him in broken english which i'm totally talented at doing thanks to my Italian and Spanish upbringing.

would be great if he wasn't all the way over there in N.Z. I can think of at least a dozen different ways i love to shoot him.

60's Nudes

I have always had such an obsession with camp girls of the 60's seriously my weakness! the bigger the hair the closer your are to god i say.

here Luke Davies does the hair and i do the make up. I've captured a nice deer in the headlights expression.

so babe-adelic man!

thank you sasha for such a fun shoot!

IL CAVALO BIANCO

I shot a story for a friend of mine Sasha on a roof top in london for one of her mates simon. we used a new talent from Elite model management..... for the life of me i can't remember her name right now which sux cause she was super sweet.

I had just broken up with someone days before i shot this so the shoot took on this melancholy feel and direction.

ELVIS SHOOTS AT VIVIEN WESTWOOD

LONDON FASHION WEEK

was blown away by all the the amazing freaks and characters at the Vivien Westwood after party!

I was there to just play but I couldn't help myself but to take pictures, lucky enough I had my camera handy cause I had just shot a party down the road for some extra coin. These parties were pretty clicky and I noticed often the coolest ones of the lot would keep to themselves.

I was pretty lucky to have some cool mates in london that i seemed to bump into at the right place at the right time.

it could be pretty lonely there for a first time traveler with out them i reckon.

all and all fab place... seriously so inspiring!
